INTERESTS

I am a 4th year PhD candidate interested in how remote sensing and GIS technologies can shed light on evolving and predicted trends in land use change. Specifically, I am interested in where cellulosic biofuels can fit into the marginal landscape. Advancements in biofuel technologies will result in a reshaping of the landscape, and will depend on a combination of physical and economic factors. My research questions are all inherently spatial and can best be answered through a suite of geospatial approaches.
